bolt on neck. meaty humbuckers. all the usual spec. decent hardware. rosewood neck, tunomatic bridge. an 8 here.

great sounding pick ups. they look like cheap demarzios. fret buzz but not audible through amp, only when unplugged. pick ups dont really do clean though. another 8 here
Action, Fit, & Finish

shit shit shit! needed frets recrowning sanding etc. loads of fret buzz and bad intonation. is mostly fine now. a few finnishing flaws and still has some fret buzz when unplugged #35 later. action was 3mm when came is now 1.8mm. should be ashamed of himself john wesley! this workmanship was arse.

this guitar is very solid and durable. good guitar but would always use as second to my fender usa strat. i assume its durable and reliable so 7 i guess.

bit of a smug git really. said you couldnt expect good action,fit and finnish on a budget model. what planet is he on? twat! most people think he is great. fast shipping though and i guess he did offer to take the guitar back, but i wanted to keep it as i quite like the guitar. he should have offered to refund some set up cost i think.

i have been playing for 20 years. 10 years professional, 8 years teaching. some budget guitars are great ahnd i quite like this. i have owned other budget guitars. i also have fender strat usa, gibson les paul. marshall and hi watt amps. danelectro amp. shed load of pedals. would have liked set neck but i am sort of happy with this guitar. john wesley hasn't got guitar making right though and i wouldnt buy from him again. should of cost more like #60, i would have been happy then.
