Features : 8
Hand made 22 fret LP Style.
With 2 Volume, 2 Tone and standard LP 3-way selecter. Two humbuckers, rosewood fingerboard, set fat neck, pearl inlay, mint cream finish body.

Sound : 10
This guitar produces a beautiful sound on distortion. It's very blues-y, so if you're into hardcore nu-metal etc. you should probably give this one a miss. But set to treble gives enough punch, with a few height adjustments to the pickups, you can get a mix between a sweet warm 'child o' mine' ring and heavy power-chord 'nirvana' style.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Guitar is beautfully set up. Although I did notice that the end of the fingerboard near the headstock seems a little oddly cut. Still plays wonderfully and holds together like a rock though.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Guitar would definately stance live playing, will last. Finish would only come of if you got a knife and stabbed it. Strap buttons hold on nice. Would gig without a backup.

Customer Support : 10
I have actually cracked the back of the neck, fortunately it held together nicely. Contacting customer support they offered to repair it. But because it's a set neck and a discontinued modely, they reccomended I just glued it.
But John is a very nice guy.

Overall Rating : 10
I bought the original Wesley MEG 9212. This model is now dicontinued and has now been replaced with the Vintage Phoenix, which in honesty, does not have the sexy looks of the original model. But I doubt the models differ on any key issues. Just the inlay on the fingerboard and headstock and slight body difference.
Overall, beautifull guitar. Love it till i die.
