This guitar is a Wesley Les Paul Gold Top fitted with P90's. It was made in Korea, I did not know much about them but did a few ebay searches and found that they sell a lot in the UK and all got great reviews. It is a really well made, solid construction, with a SET neck, not bolt on, incredible for the price. Build quality is amazing for the price, it cost less than a Fender Squire or Gibson Epiphone, but is far superior in my opinion. It comes with two P90 pick ups, each has it's own volume control and there is one master tone control. Pick up selection is via a typical Les Paul style 3 way switch.

I bought the guitar for my son, who was playing a Yamaha super strat type of guitar. The guitar sounds great, even through a practice amp, quite bluesy, but will really rock when cranked up. He plays Nirvana, Hives, White Stripes, etc, so it is perfect for that.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar came ready set up, low action, everything set. It also was well packed when shipped, so no problems in transit.
Reliability/Durability

The guitar has not been gigged yet, but it is so well built and solid, that I can't see it having any problems. This guitar would be a main stage axe, the Yamaha will be relegated to back up.

Wesley Guitars UK were the suppliers, I asked them to set the action low before shipping and they did. I asked them a few questions by e-mail and they answered straight away, the guitar took 48 hours to arrive. It comes with a warranty. I cannot fault them.

I can not praise this guitar highly enough. The build quality is awesome, it cost less, or the same as a Squire, but is miles better. If lost or stolen I would get another. It looks the part, for any aspiring rock star, shiny gold Les Paul, and it sounds the part too. I have been playing for more than 25 years and own a Hagstrom James d'Aquisto Jazz guitar, a Godin Radiator and a Vox 25, plus a couple of no name cheap guitars, but the Wesley is better than all, apart from the Hagstrom, which I love! As I said before, I cannot praise the guitar high enough, it was an absolute bargain!!!!
