335 Style semi-hollow body, Orange to black sunburst, Tune-o-matic bridge, stop tail piece, Rosewood fretboard, cream binding on body and neck, made about 1978 in Japan by Matsomuku, single coil/humbucker switch, very well made. I think the pickups are DiMarzios.

One of the most expressive guitars I've played, wide variety of sounds, favorite settings: single coil, knobs all the way up, good bite, sweet vibrato, good chunky bass; rolling off the tone a little adds lots of bass; bends and vibratos sound better to me and nicer to play than my Gibson 347.

Quality and finish- every bit as good or better than my Gibson 347
Reliability/Durability

Good, solid, dependable, sounds great, stands up to abuse, highly expressive, stays in tune well, what more can you ask for? Maybe balanced a little better, a little neck-heavy.

Been playing for almost 40 years now. Own 2 Gibsons (a 78 ES-347, and a 60 ES-125 TCD), a Westbury Custom (used to be my favorite until I got the SA260), an American Strat, Ibanez Artist, and an old Peavey. I guess if this one breaks, I'll have to go back to playing my Gibsons. By far, the best VALUE of any of my guitars.
