i got my westbury guitar without pickups and tuning knobs for 50 bucks. its a durable guitar for the money. it has an H/H configuration a 3 way selector switch with fresh new dimarzio p/u in it.the guitar is a one piece neck and it is black. i replaced the tunamatic bridge with a gibson and a gibson stop tailpiece. the tuning keys a gibson as well. I too have never heard of this guitar. But some guitar buff i know informed me that it could be american. He said he thinks he recalls a manufacting company out of westbury long island ,N.Y. that used to make guitars. Thats all i know right now. I'm still searching for more info on these guitars.

well i did some fret work and customized it to my specs so it is a good playing guitar in my opinion. I use a randal half stack with a configuration of 8 boss pedals. I use 11-52 gage strings and tune to drop c. with the gibson tunamatic bridge i installed plus the fretwork i did i dont get any buzz like i used too. i can truly compare it to an sg now.

the finish is poor. chips of black paint here and there fall of but i like a guitar thats been played on. i would use it to play out.
