usual telecasrer features except as stated elsewhere the strings do not pass through the body
well made good low action.

Bridge pickup gives a sharp crisp authentic sound - neck pick up sounds solid but a little wooly and lacks definition but at #60 could you ask for more?

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
action very good well made and well packaged. finish is good better than expected for #60

Reliability/Durability : 5

Westfield Guitars are based in Scotland so I assume that is where this guitar was made. It has 21 frets as standard on a electric guitar. The Guitar is very solid and well put together, the control deck has a 3 way selector and volume and tone knobs. It has got your usual bridge and neck pickups, the bridge makes a very pleasing Tele sound but the neck pickup could be a bit better but for the money what do you expect. The fretboard is not laquered so the action is slow compared to a Fender Tele and it is flat instead of a slight curve.

Sound : 8
It makes a very good Tele sound for the money and will suite a beginner nicely. I shall upgrade my pickups to Fender ones in the future

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The guitar is very well put together, the machineheads are superb for the money. The fingerboard isn't laquered and dosn't have the curve in it, but is still very nice to play and is well fixed to the body. It looks exactly like a Telecaster apart from the strings come out the back of the bridge instead of going through the body, but makes no difference in sound and is still very stable.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I think the durability of the guitar is very good. I feel it is stong enough to play live but the pickups may wear out eventually, so I would recommend pickups upgrade in the future.
I have yet to see whether the machineheads will last, but are very good at the moment.

Customer Support : 4
It came from a company on ebay so I doubt it has support from them. Im sure if you had a problem like a question you could get in touch with Westfield and they would be happy to help.

Overall Rating : 9
I have had this guitar for about a month now and I am very pleased with it for just jamming in my room with mates. I love the finish it looks exactly like a Telecaster I feel that this copy is easily up to standard with a Squire version of the Telecaster. I shall upgrade the pickups in the future.

Cheap Chinese Tele Copy. I paid #62 on E-bay for mine brand new. What a bargain for the money. Solid wood 3 piece body (I took the control plate off to check)which on mine is nicely finnished in sunburst. It has a maple neck with rosewood finger board and medium jumbo frets. The finger board is relatively flat compared to a Fender. The neck has no laquer on the back or headstock and this makes it a little slow. The chrome machine heads are much better than expected for the cash. It has the usual Tele single coil pick ups, which again do the job for the money paid. One area where they have saved some cash is in the bridge. The strings are attached to the back of the bridge rather than through the body as on a real Tele. But again what do you expect for #62 and it doesn't seem to make a big difference to the sound or sustain.

Sound : 6
It makes a very passible Tele twang for #62!!!
For the money, the sound is fine. The pickups obviously don't have the sophistication of the originals but the do a pretty good job. The bridge in particular gives that typical Tele sound. The neck pickup is perhaps a bit muddy, but its OK.
Sustains very well.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
Well it aint no custom shop special.
As I mentioned, no laquer on the neck (to save cash).
Body is fine. Neck is very well fitted to the body. The neck is self is very straight. The frets are well set up. The action is set very low. This is overall a nice guitar to play.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Seems well enough put together to withstand abuse. It remains to be seen how long the machine heads last. I will no doubt upgrade the pickups at some point.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Given that I bought this on e-bay, I don't expect there will be any!

Overall Rating : 8
As a guitar for a beginner (my daughter will learn to play on this) or a cheap second or third guitar, you can't go far wrong at this price. Excellent value for money. I will give it an overall rating of 8 because of the low price paid and the fact that it exceeded my expectations for that price.
