Made in japan at the beginning of the 90's. It looks a bit like a B.C. Rich "Iron bird", except that the front of the guitar has purple motifs like a sknake skin... Hard to explain. REAL Floyd-Rose, Bold-on neck, 22 frets, 2 humbuckers, 1 vol and 1 tone. This guitar just look absolutely MEAN. Probably stock pickups, but they're good ones. No more features than any good guitar, but everything's at the good place, and everything is solid. I don't remember exactly how much i paid for it, 8-9 years ago but it was somewhere between 600 and 700 canadian dollars. So it was not a "cheap" guitar, because you could find good guitars for that price, back then.
Sound

This guitar was built for heavy rock... I used it with Metal Zone, boss Chorus Ensemble and Boss Digital Delay, and it screams... The best way to describe the sound of it is... crunchy? It's really the guitar to play some Metalica, Guns n'roses, etc... In fact i would say that the sound is a bit brigther than my SG, but more "Full" than my Ibanez AX.
Action, Fit, & Finish

No Opinion
I bought this guitar, new, maybe 8 years ago, and never had any problem with it. The finish was great (still is because i'm careful with this guitar), and I think the action was OK.

This guitar won't let you down. The only things i had to get fixed: pickup selector and jack. When i take it to a luthier, he's always surprised by the quality of the thing. When you play it, you really have the impression of solidity.

Westone is gone. It's sad, because they were building some very unusual models...

I've been playing for about 15 years. I really like this guitar, because it's not a guitar anybody has at home. In fact I think that this model is a rare one, because i've never seen or heard about it anywhere else. It looks mean, and it sounds just as it looks. I already have 2 other guitars: one Epi SG-400 and one Ibanez AX, and i don't need another guitar right now, but if i see this same guitar somewhere i will buy it right now.
