Body is solid and heavy, unk wood, neck is Thin , maple ( I think ) with Mahogany fretboard. This guitar fits my style fine. I play rock/metal. I use a Crate G-60
Amp which is a good home/practice amp. I never get any feedback when at high volumes, and no humming. I've used the guitar with other amp and effect pedels and it sounds just great. To me nothing sounds as good as an acustic in the Clean mode and this guitar does OK in the clean mode if you switch to the single coil pick-ups.

From the factory the settings were almost perfect..I only lowerd the string action a little. It was in absolute perfect condition.

This guitar has stood the test of time. It alomost looks as good now (13 years later) as it did the day I bought it. It has been used in some live playing but not a lot. The strap buttons are great for stock, but for live playing I would upgrade to locking straps. It has always been dependable and has never let me down. There has been only one repair to the guitar and that was replacing the input jack cover plate. It was plastic and broke, and was replaced with a metal one, my only complaint.

I have never had to deal with the factory. I got it repaired once and it was out of warranty. I believe the factory warrany was one year.
I dont remember what I paid for it but I think it was around 250.00-300.00

I've been playing off and on since 1986, other than this guitar I own a Crate G60 amp, and a old acustic Guitar (Lincoln?) made in the late 70's.
If anyone knows where I can get futher information on either of the Guitars I own please let me know. Westone seems to be a hard guitar to get information on.
