I real dont know when it was made ......I would guess in the eighties
it is all solid woods with a set neck.It has a humbucker in the bridge position and 2 single coils;the machine heads (deeppurple)
are grover mini chrome tuners;its has a kahler bridge unit and shark fin fret board inlays.........Mines candy apple red........I believe the nobs are:1 volume and two tone(i think) they are both crome. It also has silver/grey pinstriping..............Its a variation on the flying vee but slicker. Oh yeah it also has that thing after the nut that you use a hex key on to lock the strings so it is less prone to go outa tune.
The neck seem to me to have more room than others i have played.......Its like wider but thinner kindafeels grest frets are i dunno i like e I dont know much about the pickups but i am here to tell you yakima makes quality guitars .....if any1 has ANY info on them please email me crawdave2001@yahoo.com

the sound is great i like it alot .......I have onley had it for a week .............but i do feel a connection well ..........like when i am playing i feel more "as one" with the amp........i dont wanna do numbers

the action is great fab!...........I can get to the waaaaaaaaaaaaaay down bottom frets and there is ZERO fret buzz......and 100% great sounds (provided i am playing ok lol)point being ITS NOT THE GUITARS FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............this was a GREAT DEALL!!!!!!!!!If you like this type of metal type guitar GET ONE they r rare thouhg ........so..........THIS IS A FAB JAPANESE GUITAR very high quality

i think yakima was barly ever around .............i dont know about them all i can find out of them is that a company with that name is makeing racks for the top of cars............But i did read somewhere that there was a affiliation with gibson
mabey someone can conferm or deny that email me

THIS GUITAR RULES I DONT CARE IF TONS OF PEOPLE SAY THAT ABOUT THERE GUITARS...............espesh for the $$$$$$$$$$i paid i have been playing for like 14 years.......this is a very cool hot rod of a guitar looks and performance its got both in spades
