Bought new in Ottawa Canada around 1975 for around $179.
Mahogany Neck, Spruce or Cedar top, maple back and sides (highly figured on back. Appears to be a rosewood fretboard. Has the headstock that has a scrolled-out scallop at the end. I like the all-blonde look.

This guitar is meant for light gauge strings. It has a bright sound and great sustain. Would like a little more bass, but then again, it does have light gauge strings.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar has been excellent ever since I bought it. It gets a lot of play. It is a medium width neck and action is quite low for an acoustic. This neck is fast and allows me to dink around doing a lot of bluesy bends and riffs. It plays like an electric with heavier strings. Intonation could be a bit better, but I guess I shouldn't be way up the neck anyway.

It is very reliable. Hardley a scratch on it after 27 years. Neck is totally straight, finish is still great.

Never had a problem... and it's good thing.

Played since 1961 with a hiatus for 15 years. Style is clapton, steely dan, some country pickin, CPR Jeff Peevar, other stuff.
Have Yamaha Pacifica 1421 (high-end electric), A 1998 Hardtail strat, a 1977 Guild S300D and recently reunited with a Silvertone Jupitor that was stolen when I was 15 (still in perfect condittion and a totally unique and great sound from this thinline hollow-body les paulish style git that is black with subtle gold sparkles, bound, with MOP inlays and an awesome blend switch and control).
