Dreadnought 6 string, solid spruce or ceader top, flamed maple back and sides, maple neck, bridge, fingerboard . Body neck and headstock have cream or white binding.Has a lemon shaped pickguard.Machine heads were missing when i received this guitar, installed a set of gotohs.Bone nut was off and was way too high for proper action so can't be original.Set hight and installed.Neck is very fat,but plays well.Frets are fairly worn too.
Sound

Has a beautiful sound ,well ballanced ,strong in the midrange , very very warm, but not a loud guitar. My Fender F75 is much louder.Sounds best for softer playing .Nice to have a different sounding acoustic in my collection though for recording or just for a change.Sustain is great and overtones are lush.Strum an open chord and you can hear each note clearly(kind of piano like)but they blend together and yeild a tone I can only discribe as very warm and beautiful.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action is great. This is the staightest neck I've ever seen on a used acoustic,it's perfect. Some slight buzzing due to worn frets and low action (my preference).Fit and finish is flawless ,very well built guitar.Someone that prefers a fat neck would love it, however I prefer much thiner necks.
Reliability/Durability

Guitar has some hairline cracks in the top, could be just in the finish(I heard this is common with Yamakis)but other than that it seems to have held up fine for being 30 plus years old.
