Im not sure of the year it was made, the sticker inside says its made in Japan, and Yamaki sounds Japanese, so I am not about to argue that. It had 20 frets, its got a solid top. Yeah its acoustic so there is no controls. I am not sure what its made of, but it sounds amazing for a pretty cheap guitar. The style is dreadnought. The only accessories with this guitar were a couple of picks, a thick case, and a few books on how to learn to play, but I have never used them yet.

It sounds amazing. The sound is kind of deep, but I like that from an acoustic. It sounds alot like my dads Epiphone thats worth triple the amount. The only thing I wish this guitar had is a way to plug it into my amp, but other then that the sound is amazing, I have medium hard strings, and the echo with those are amazing.

I dont know much about this, I know that it was pretty shitty when I bought it, and I never really played it until the end of 2002. I bought it in 2000 for 150 bucks Canadian from a place called Cash Converters. There are a couple of nicked in it, thats it. it looks brand spanking new! I had to put a lil love into this guitar, it came with some crappy strings, and made it sound like crap, but I put some Medium Hards on there, and now it sounds amazing.

I would use this guitar to play in front of people, and I have. If it has lasted this long, I am positive it will go on quite a bit longer. The finish is great, looks brand new. I would use this without backup. I have only had one problem in front of people, and that was a string breaking. Other then that it is amazing.

I give it a 8.5 outta 10. This was made sometime in the 70's, and I am sure it is a cheap ripoff of Yamaha, but I think that it sounds great, and I will always keep it around, and probly pass it on to my kids, and maybe then it will be worth something.

I don't know what year it was made in, but I'm assuming sometime in the 70s. It's a Yamaki Dreadnough, model AY370W wiht 20 frets. Could someone PLEASE tell me something about my guitar. I haven't been able to find ANYTHING about it.
Thanks!!

The guitar is at LEAST 30 years old and it still has what appears to be the original finish. It sat in its case unplayed I'm assuming because it only has about 1-2 nicks in it.
I think I might have put one on it though... :(

As I said, I got it for my birthday in October, only a few months ago, but I've been playing for about a year. So far, it's great.
