This is probably the nicest sounding acoustic guitar I have ever heard let alone played. Very rich, warm bass balanced perfectly if I choose medium gauge strings. These were apparently made with the same materials and design as Martin and Gibson dreadnaughts. After 31 years It is as good as new with a few minor dings and some cloudiness on the back but it sounds better and better over time.

The action and neck have remained perfect since day one. Living near Vancouver Canada helps with the temperate humidity.

I only realized what a rarity this guitar was a few years ago when my son was trying to find out more about it. I have owned this guitar now for 31 years. I have had it around more campfires than I can count and it has survived a few fallings over and has only some minor cosmetic dings.

I recently purchased a used Art & Lutherie Cedaar CW that will be the campfire guitar now. This guitar has been with me since I was 14 and is my life's prize posession as I am not a material person. If there were a fire, this would be my first possession to save even before my Les Paul Custom or American Standard Telecaster.

Amazing, Yamaki's have kind of dissapeared but every once in awhile you hear of someone who has one and they say that it's amazing. It's my dad's guitar but I've kinda taken it over. Plays easier than my dads Gibson Dove and it has its own smooth rich sound

Plays amazing, my brother set it up and did a sweet job. Hand made, inlays are beautiful.

Has a cigarette burn in the head stock, I think that occured before my making, it adds character. It's taken alot of beating over the years but barely shows it.

I'm young and I've only been playing a few years but this guitar has been around for as long as I remember, I would never get rid of it. I own a Fender Telecaster (American), JCM 800 head with new 4x12, took me all summer to save up for. I play the tele through my Pod and Metal Zone. I use a Dean Markley Pickup for the Yamaki sometimes during band practices when we want to get mellow and plug it direct into my amp and it sounds amazing. Best buy out there, The Yamaki.

Don't know a whole lot about this guitar. Japanese made. Bought in the late 70's by my dad as a gift to my mother. I started playing it about 10 years ago. 20 fret accoustic guitar.

Incredible sound. I can get a little bit of buzzing in the higher frets (not usually an issue with how i play it).

I get tons of compliments every time it comes out of the case. Beautiful guitar: pearl inlays, herringbone-like pattern around the edges of the top and bottom has a coloured inlay down the center approx 1/4" thick.

Tuners are excellent, but had to have the bridge glued about 8 years ago as it had developed a crack.
