Nice to see some other Yamaki guitars. Mine is a Yamaki Custom, Model F130, dated 2-5-74. I bought it new and have never regretted it. Woods are unknown. Tuners are branded Yamaki, and are very smooth and tight after 26 years. Could'nt ask for more.
Sound

The sound is quite good. I played with a guy that had a circa 1978 Martin and I (and he) was pleased with the sound. I have several requests to sell the guitar to friends I have played with over the years if I were to sell it. I have yet to find an acoustic under $1500 I would consider to replace it.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action is great. It can play on any fret with ease. Again, I have not seen any other guitars to make me want to change
Reliability/Durability

The guitar is 26 years old, nad the neck is still straight, the tuning keys are solid, and the finish is aging well. The only complaint is the pegs for holding the strings in the bridge are made of plastic and finally need replacing.

I've been playing for 30 years, though family, etc. has slowed me down some. If the Yamaki were stolen or loss, I'm not sure what I would do. It is a better guitar than a lot of them on the market today that are affordable.
