Solid spruce top, herringbone prufling everywhere, probably laminated rosewood back and sides, rosewood fretboard and bridge, abalone YAMAKI on the open headstock. Looks are great!
Sound

Sweetest sound you'll ever hear on a twelf-string, nothing compares. Most 12-strings tend to sound tinny and out of tune. Not the case hear. Tried lot's, this is the best!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Easily playable till the twelfth position and remember, this is a twelf-string! No glue on the inside, very neat.

I gig with it, no problems there. The finish has a small milky spot on the top, don't know what it is, but I've seen it before. Strangely enough always on other Yamakis, maybe there lacquer was't meant to last. Has been this way for several years and does't increase in size though. No problem with the tuning, which would be a problem with twelve strings to tune during a gig.

Been playing for avbout 20 years. Have no other 12-strings, cause I depend on this one. Have two Martins, a Takamine and a Tama. Gibson Les Paul, Fender tele are my main electric tricks. Mostly have solo gigs.
Love this guitar and would cry if it was stolen. Or would be very angry. Mmm, maybe both. Just stay away from it, will ya!
If you see a good Yamaki, buy it! You won't be sorry. On the other hand, even Yamaki made poor guitars. Another legend is Tama guitars, please buy a Martin if you want a good dreadnought, don't be hyped.
