Sound is great for a little guitar, bass is lacking but that is to be expected from this small body. The guitar has great sustain, clear tone right up the neck, it makes you want to pick it up.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I really can not find anything wrong, setup was perfect, the finish was perfect.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Looks well made, nice finish, and a good neck angle.I would have to believe it will stand up to anything I throw at it.But only time will tell.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have no problem, however any communication has been answered promply. But I have a feeling you probably get more service out of these guys.then most.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing for 40 years on/off. I have too many guitars to mention, some I have made myself.I would buy again.I did pick this guitar on spec., the setup ,the fact that is all wood, and reputation of the company made me take a chance on this rather than Baby Taylor etc, but basically it was perfect setup I liked. The only thing is, I wish it had 14 frets clear then I probably would'nt hardly pickup the other guitars, with my smaller hands this really the ticket.

The Baby Zager is a 3/4 guitar that has a flawless finish. I don't know all the names of the woods and components used but compared to everything I saw at 2 local dealers, this is the finest look of all.

Sound : 10
I am a novice player but I can tell you that it sounds better than my best friend's well-aged Martin. He is so envious. The 3/4 Baby Zager is playabe by my six year old - although she isn't really playing it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar came perfectly tuned and seems to stay in tune well well.
Flaws? None at all. I'm a surgeon and I look for flaws for a living.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The straps button are solid, tuning hardare top of the line; so I guess it will last a long time. Hopefully my daughter will be enjoying it many years form now.

Well, ordering this guitar online was as easy as any online purchase. The Zagers responded to the purchase with notifications of the order, when it was sent and when it would arrive. Bingo - there it was! They included a new set of strings and a pick with the guitar.
I have since ordered a case by phone and they handled that as nicely as before.

I and my wife are novices We did our research at local stores and online. We wanted a guitar that was easy on the fingers, sounded like a great guitar and that would be a bit smaller for a young child to play if she became interested. The popular wisdom is to get a fine guitar rather than a cheap one as the child will instinctively not play a bad sounding guitar. The Baby Zager sounds so good that she is picking it up and strumming it on her own - Just like they predicted she would!

This is a little 3/4 size guitar similar in size with the Baby Taylor. The finish is a beatiful laquer. I bought this guitar for my 8 year son to start lessons with. My full size guitars are just a little too big for him to handle. I don't know ALL the particulars of the construction but it's a beautiful little guitar, stays in tune perfectly and has very smooth tuners. The neck is great and it plays very supurbly all the way up the neck.

Sound : 10
The Baby Zager is noticbly louder than the 3/4 size Taylors, Martin and Alverez guitars I played. It plays up the neck better than my 414CE Taylor! I would say the sound is bright more than full but what I noticed is that the sound could be varried by pick or finger pressure better than most guitars. For a little guitar, and I compared it to everything I could find up to the $500 range (remember this for my kid) I would say it pales the others by comparison sound and ease of play wise and looks.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
If you've felt the action on a Zager you should probably do so. It's amazing how low it is without any string buzz. I think there most expensive guitar is in the $700 range (with electronics) and I'm amazed at that price. The guitar was perfectly set-up from the factory! The fit and finish of the guitar was prefect.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Haven't got a clue how it will hold up, especially to my son, but it's got a lifetime guarantee so I really don't care.

Customer Support : 10
I emailed Zager Guitars for several days before ordering the guitar. They had immediate responces to my emails and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. They provided even more information than I'd requested on some occations. Also, they have a complete money back guarantee including shipping both ways so I wasn't concerned about the purchase. I don't know how the customer support could be any better. The guitar came with extra strings, picks a nice guitar stand and a Zager Guitar shirt. None of which I knew was included. Nice.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing guitar for close to 35 years and play regularly with a low-key group of friends in a very nice studio. I didn't buy this guitar for myself but for my son but I really have to stress how nice this little guitar is compared to the 3/4 size Taylors, Martin and Alverez's I played. I was trying to get him something he could grow into that didn't sound like a cheap, little guitar. I absolutely found gold in the this Baby Zager. It's several full steps better sounding and probably 10x easier to play than the others. I can probably afford any guitar I really wanted, but I'm more into guitars that sound and play well. I think the Zager guitars are worth looking into especially with the money back guanantee including shipping that's offered. My next full size guitar will be their top of the line Zager.
