einmal vorweg: diese gitarre ist der pure wahnsinn!

zebra humbucker sind standardma?ig dabei, und das aus gutem grund!
zu den einstellungsmoglichkeiten kann ich nur sagen: genial! die gitarre klingt immer genau so wie ich sie brauche, auch dank dem coil splitting.

ich spiele hauptsachlich nu-, old school- und progressive metal und es scheint als ware die gitarre genau dafur gemacht!
die zebra humbucker haben einen gewaltigen output und lassen die gitarre sowohl straight als auch muted gespielt schon fletschend klingen.
clean kommt die gitarre zwar nicht an eine strat ran, aber fur leute, die sowohl richtig fett verzerrt alsauch schon clean spielen wollen ist sie der perfekte kompromiss.
frank geht sowieso auf die wunsche jedes einzelnen ein und passt die gitarre so ein, wie man sie haben will.
klingen tut die gitarre auf jedem verstarker gut, sogar auf meinem kleinen 15 watt marshall, aber vor allem auf meinem peavey 5150 top.
trotz ihrem hohen output gibt die gitarre keinen mucks von sich wenn mans nicht will.

alles perfekt eingestellt, ganz auf meine bedurfnisse zugeschnitten.
wie oft muss ichs noch sagen? beste gitarre die ich je in meinen handen gehalten habe!

bombensicher. verstimmt sich nicht, verzieht nicht. und ist nur knapp 3 kg schwer.
vor allem im rockcase ist sie gut aufgehoben...

so ein service bekommt man bei keinem bekannten gitarrenhersteller.
frank ist einer der nettesten menschen, er ist immer fur einen tratsch gut und er kann einem sehr gut weiterhelfen, wenn man selber nicht weiss was man technisch braucht.
eigentlich sollte ich in diesem punkt 20 punkte vergeben, aber geht ja nicht!

ich spiele zwar erst seit 5 jahren gitarre, aber in dieser zeit habe ich viele gitarren in meinen handen gehalten. keine war annahernd zutreffender fur mich als diese. ich habe meinen sound gefunden.

ich wurde jedem, der sich eine neue gitarre kaufen will, raten, mal mit frank kontakt aufzunehmen. er kann jedem weiterhelfen und preis leistung ist sowieso... sensationell.

klingt vielleicht alles etwas ubertrieben, ist aber so. kaum zu glauben da? es sowas noch gibt.

2003 habe ich mir die Q bei Frank nach einem langwierigen Auswahlprozess bestellt. Gebaut wurde sie in Korea. Sie hat 24 Bunde, 2 Volume und 1 Mastertone Poti und 2 Zebra Humbucker mit sagenhaftem Dampf. Frank hat mir noch 2 SplitSwitches eingebaut um aus 2 Humbuckern auch 2 SingleCoils zu schalten. Der Body ist aus Korina mit einem curved Top aus wunderschonem Wolkchenahorn. Zusatzlich ist sie mit einem Floyd Rose ausgestattet. Sie besitzt einen Hals mit Rosewood Fingerboard und sehr sauber eingelassenen Frets.

Die Gitarre ist klingt tierisch - so einen Sound hatte ich an keiner anderen Gitarre zuvor (habe hierfur meine Ibanez Collection teilweise - LawSuit Paula, RoadStar und ne Artist versilbert. Ich spiele die Gitarre uber meinen Roland VGA 7. Durch die Splittung der Humbucker kann ich wesentlcih vielseitigere Sounds erzielen - besser als Strat, PRS und Les Paul. Die Klangregelung ist genial ein fach - einfach genial.

Die Verarbeitung ist im Vergleich zu anderen, von mir getesteten Gitarren erstklassig und steht auch hoherpreisigen Stucken in nicht nach. Die Lackierung ist spitze, keinerlei Lackfehler. Die Bespielbarkeit ist super o.k. - wurde von Frank genau auf meine Bedurfnisse eingestellt.

Ich habe diese Gitarre erst einige Monate und spiele selbst (noch) nicht live. Das Teil mutet allerdings an, als habe man hier eine Freundin furs Leben in den Armen/Handen - und das ist gut so ;-)). Das FloyRose ist genial gearbeitet und insgesamt sollte auch bei Einsatz als BaseBall Schlager die Q keinen Schaden nehmen. Hier ist eine Gitarre entstanden fur die Ewigkeit.

Was soll man hier alles schreiben - als erstes vielleicht, dass Frank in dieser Section 20 Punkte bekommen musste. Nach einem schweren Motorradunfall musste mein linker Arm alles neu lernen - wie werden Finger gesetzt, wie krieg ich die Kraft in die Hand usw. Auch musste die zukunftige Gitarre leicht und neutral ausgewogen sein. Kein Handler hatte bis dahin wirklich Geduld, mir seine Klampfen in die Arme zu legen und mich auch uber langere Zeit testen oder auswahlen zu lassen. Und dann kam dann dieser Frank:-))
Uberfallartig entschloss ich mich auf meinem Weg an Speyer vorbei, ihn kurz kennenzulernen. Als ich vor seiner Wohnung stand - einen Laden hat ergottseileider nicht - rief ich ihn an. Trotz eines anderen Termins hat er mich raufgeholt und ich wurde erst mal liebevoll mit Kaffee, Sitzplatz und nem netten Schwatzchen von/mit seiner total lieben Frau verwohnt. Als Frank dann Zeit fur mich hatte, bekam ich eine superkompetente Beratung, konnte alle seine Gitarren anspielen und wir haben uns viel uber mein Handicap und meinen Wunsch, wieder neu klampfen zu lernen unterhalten. Der Sound der Q pur war schon genial, mir fehlte aber etwas der Touch zur Strat. So wurde die Idee vom Splitting geboren und letzten Endes auch so bestellt. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass ich meine Q noch nicht mitnehmen konnte, was aber ei Vorteil war, denn so durfte ich Frank nochmal besuchen, um das Teil abzuholen. Frank - bleib weiter so kundenorientiert und ich wunsche Dir, dass Deine Zerberus Company wirklich noch lange Jahre bestehen bleibt.

Mit dieser Gitarre ist mir der Neuanfang gelungen.Es macht wirklich viel Spass, die Q zu spielen. Da ich kein Berufsmusiker oder langjahriger Bandgitarrist bin, kann ich das von der professionellen Seite nicht beurteilen - emotional hang ich ander Q wie an keiner anderen Gitarre zuvor.

Ich besitze seit einiger Zeit eine Q-Deluxe in "bloodred", gebaut 2003 in Korea. Sie hat 24 Bunde, 2 Volume und 1 Mastertone Poti und 2 Zebra Humbucker mit reichlich Dampf. Der Body ist aus (sehr leichtem) Korina mit einem curved Top aus wunderschonem Wolkchenahorn. Vom Shaping erinnert sie mich an eine gelungene Kreuzung von Les Paul und Strat und ist mit einem Top Lock Floyd Rose ausgestattet. Sie besitzt einen extra klasse Hals mit Rosewood Fingerboard und sehr sauber eingefugten (medium) Jumbo Frets. Dazu gab's fur kleines Geld (50 ?) einen sehr schonen Warwick Rockcase.

Die Gitarre ist Rock "pur". Ton, Ton und nochmals Ton - die Gitarre klingt tierisch und anders als alle anderen Gitarren, die ich besitze (u.a. 69er LesPaul, Blade Strat, Fender ?62er Reissue Strat, Heritage H555 Semi) - und das finde ich gro?artig! Ich spiele die Gitarre uber meinen Line6 Vetta II Amp. Der Sound der Q ist uberaus fett, die Klangregelung sehr effektiv und vielseitig.

Die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig und genugt voll und ganz professionellen Anspruchen. Die Lackierung ist 1A, keinerlei Lackfehler. Die Bespielbarkeit war o.k., ich konnte ohne gro?en Aufwand die Saitenhohe noch ein wenig senken, ohne das es schnarrt. Der Hals ist super eingepasst. Stimmmechaniken und das Floyd sind klasse.

Ich setze diese Gitarre regelma?ig live und im Studio ein. Sie hat sich voll und ganz bewahrt. Auf die Q ist Verlass! Eigentlich konnte ich auf eine "Backup" Gitarre verzichten, aber mit dem Floyd dauerts halt ein wenig, die Saite zu wechseln. Aber bisher ist mir live noch keine Saite gerissen.

Ich habe die Gitarre von Frank Scheucher bei Zerberus Guitars gekauft. Der Service ist gro?e Klasse; ein paar kleinere Modifikationen waren fur ihn uberhaupt kein Problem. Weiter so, Frank:)

Ich spiele seit etwa 25 Jahren in verschiedensten Bands und bin berufsma?ig live unterwegs. Mit dieser Gitarre macht die Arbeit Spa? :) Die Q halt den Vergleich mit meinen anderen Instrumenten (s.o.) locker stand, auch wenn die zum Teil ein vielfaches des Preises der Q gekostet haben.
Die Q-Deluxe ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes Instrument mit einem wohl schwer zu schlagendem Preis-/Leistungsverhaltnis, das absolut professionellen Anspruchen genugt.

Ich bin (na, ich hoffe, dass da draussen sich auch noch irgendwelche Individuen rumtreiben, die der teutonischen Sprache machtig sind) seit rund zwei Monaten glucklicher Besitzer ein Q-Deluxe. Sie wurde in Korea hergestellt (kommt so ziemlich aus dem gleichen Loch wie manch andere "Custom built" Gitarre mit klingendem Namen). Der wunderschone Ahornhals (Rosewood-Griffbrett) ist mit 24 Bunden versehen. Dank des gutdurchdachten Designs ist die Bespielbarkeit auch in den hohen Lagen ein Genuss. Der Korper ist aus massiven Korina mit einer traumhaften quilted maple Decke. Ein Dreiwegschalter in Verbund mit drei Dome-Speed-Knobs (2 x Volume, 1 x Tone) stehen zur Klangregelung zur Verfugung. Zwei passive Humbucker sorgen fur eine artgerechte Tonubertragung. Ein Floyd-Rose-Style Tremolo System, Klemmsattel und gekapselte Prazisionsmechaniken runden das Ganze ab.

Ich komme eher aus der rockigen Ecke der Musikwelt. Hier liefert mir das neue Arbeitstier genau den richtigen Sound. Druckvoll, harmonisch, mal zartlich clean, mal brullend verzerrt lasst sie sich von mir traktieren. Die direkte, sehr transparente Ansprache kommt mir und meinem klassischen Einkanaler bestens zugute. Nebengerausche kennt sie nicht. Der Klang lasst sich muhelos mittels Volumenregler (das Ganze dann noch ohne Hohenklau) von zartlich bis brachial steuern.

Ich habe da Zerberus all meine intimsten Wunsche und Phantasien mit der Bestellung abgegeben. Und siehe da, alles (aber auch wirklich alles) haben sie umgesetzt. Dass da nicht noch einer mitkam, um mir das Ding uber die Schultern zu hieven verwunderte mich eigentlich ein bisschen! Saitenlage, Pickupeinstellungen waren top. Was mich aber eigentlich noch mehr faszinierte war die gesamte Verarbeitung! Mensch, da konnten manche grosse Namen noch was dazu lernen. Aller erste Sahne sind die Holzer, und nicht nur jene die man sieht! So ein gut gebautes, vollkommenes Ding sein Eigen nennen zu konnen grenzt wahrscheinlich an das urigste aller Urbedurfnisse der Saitendreschergilde. Kurzum, was ich da geliefert bekam hat mich glatt aus den Socken gehauen! Ich habe sonst noch an die zwanzig andere Gitarren - darunter manche mit grossem Namen - im Regal stehen oder eher hangen, aber die Q - Deluxe schlagt die allemal locker.

Ich bin ja wirklich nicht sehr zartbesaitet im Umgang mit meinem Arbeitsgerat (long live rock 'n roll!) aber die Q - Deluxe scheint mich da doch uberleben zu konnen. Die verwendeten Materialien geizen wirklich nirgends mit Qualitat, noch macht die Verarbeitung den Eindruck als wollte man den Umsatz des Ersatzteilelagers kunstlich erhohen. Finish, Mechaniken und Verarbeitung lassen auf eine uberdurchschnittliche Halbwertszeit schliessen. Alles in allem ist es ein verlassliches Arbeitsgerat, dem ich auch ohne Backup vertrauen wurde (wenn da nicht die standige Gefahr des bosen, bosen Saitenkillers ware - weshalb ich vorsichtshalber gleich eine zweite Q - Deluxe geordert habe!)

Wie gesagt, hat man mir da alle Wunsche von den Lippen abgelesen und auch umgesetzt. Ausfalle oder Reparaturen hatte (und erwarte) ich keine. Die zweijahrige Garantie, sowie der Vorkausservice sprechen fur sich!

Seit geraumen dreissig Jahren quale ich die Welt mit meinem Saitengeschrubbe schon. Wahrend dieser Zeit hab' ich sehr viele verschiedene Saitentrager in meinen Fingerchen gehalten, aber diese hier ubertrifft alle. Fur mich ist sie die ideale Brucke zwischen einer Gibson Les Paul und einer PRS. Transparenter als die G..., druckvoller als die P... . Vom Handling und der Verarbeitung her betrachtet schlagt sie beide um Meilen. Wenn mir so ein Schwein meine geliebte Q - Deluxe stehlen wurde ware dies einer klaren Kriegserklarung gleich zu setzen und wurde mit sofortiger Wiederbeschaffung bestraft. Fur alle, die eine Hammergitarre ihr eigen nennen wollen und nicht gleich die ganze Portokasse plunderen mochten ist die Zerberus Q - Deluxe ein veritables muss. Warmstens zu empfehlen, selbst an kuhlen Tagen!

Well, since a few days I am the lucky owner of a beauty named Q Deluxe. Hi man, this girl has got some very, very nice features. Yeah, it is true she had a long way to go from somewhere out there in Korea into my lovely nest in northern Switzerland. However, who blamed the Koreans of producing cheap srap? No, no, certainly not in this case! What I hold in my fingers is a very nicely done beauty of superb quality. It has got this nice look, they normal onyl have after hours of putting make up or in the dark. This one IS a real quality beast with all the features men (or at least the gitarreros amongst them) are looking for. Ok, back to some techinical stuff: Here we have a nicely done neck bearing 24 jumbo frets, a 3-way strat-style selector to control the two passive humbuckers. The shapy body consists of a light Korina wood, covered by this awsome looking hardmaple top. The Floyd Rose-styled tremolo does its job on one end, where on the other end we find some Gotoh-style tuners. The partnership of these two components seems to have lasted for ages already: the fit perfectly together. The neck is just a bit wider then the Les Paul im used to. Thanks to its nice Rosewood neck and the well positioned frets, speedy licks are easy to achieve.

I am quite an old rocker, more of the melodic style of the art. I have been playing many different axes the last 30 years and to be honest, about one year ago I reached exactly the point where I started a generation ago: my good old Gibson Les Paul! By accident I fell over Zerberus Homepage and told myself: why the hell shouldn't you try one of those beauties (they really look astonishingly - you don't believe me? Have a look on: www.zerberus-guitars.de? But mind your temper!) So out of the blue I ordered this thing. And I was shocked when I first played it. It all went so smooth and easy, especially those awful gymnastics on the upper end of the neck, where I normaly have a few problems with my Paula.
I am using a one-channel-no-effects-needing-but-awful-sounding Reussenzehn full tube amp. There is no noise that could harm the harmony between guitar and amp. I love the distinguished sounds which are possible with the Q, only by using the three knobs and by the dynamic of my picking. The sound range comes from this nice and warm clean stuff, which we normaly use for ballads (so-called ladykillers) and goes up to the screaming never ending highgain attack which blows your mind off. It really has this full and rich sound that kills a lot of big named axes. For me it is the superb easy handling and the sound varieties which boosted this beauty to become number one of my collection.

I took it out of the case, plugged it into the tuner and off I was. The sun was reborn that quickly. The guy behind Zerberus adjusted everything (really everything) to my specs (thanks Franky!). The action, fit and finish go neetly with the overall picture I got from the instrument and Zerberus.

The way it has been built, the quality of the woods and the hardware seem to be rock solid. Even if I can continue giging around for a few years more, I am sure this one definitely will last longer then me. Whether I would use it out there in the hard world of a rock musician without a backup? - No, here I am definitely too Swissie. Since years, I am always carring a complete set of back up material with me (amp + axe). Just imagine that in the middle of the gig, there where the girls start to get warm, this bloody string brakes! Do you really want to start to get a new string and let the girls wait out there? No, we are real gentlemen! Just take your backup and continue to do your job! - That's why I already ordered a second one!!!!

So far I only have the superb pre-sale experiences. They were of first quality. Very helpful how they took care about my specs and crazy things I needed. Furthermore Zerberus give a warranty that you simply ship the thing back if you do not like it. For me this was the last kick to order a guitar out of the blue. Overall, I would rate the customer support very, very high, but it is a bit a oneway story because there was no need for any repairs or so.

Well I have been playing for ages (30 years) and I own half a collection of different brands (small names and big names). This one absolutely is skyrocking and has got the best price to value ratio of all that I have ever had in my hands. If it would get stolen or lost, I would fly directly to Zerberus to get another one. I just mean for all those who are looking for a reasonable priced highend guitar, the Zerberus Q Deluxe is really worth a try!

My Q-Deluxe was build in 2002, it's got 24 frets and a very beautiful quilted maple top. The body is made of Korina. It's got two volume knobs and one for the sound, a 3-way-switch for the two humbucker. The colour is Tabacco-Burst and it looks very very beautiful - this guitar is one of the best looking guitars I've ever seen. The body style is like PRS but the finish is much better. It's got a golden Floyd-Rose Tremolo and golden tuners.

I'm used to play heavy bluesrock in the style of Jimi Hendrix. I play on a Peavey Rockmaster Tube Amp on a 4x10" box and an AC-30. I'm also using a crybaby and a boss cs-3 compressor. The zebra pickups are bat out of hell. The output is extrem compared with the Ibanez F2 pickups in my 540s custom made. With volume and tone controls it is possible to get nearly every sound out of it from high-gain to a nice clean sound.

Frank is very helpful and friendly, he sent me pictures of different guitars, so I could decide on the best looking one(the best looking guitar for me). He answers immediately on mails and the with the guitar he sent me a bottle of whitewine. Very nice. This is service...

If it were stolen or lost I'd be very sad and I'd buy exactly this guitar again, I was playing many of the most expensive guitars like fender, gibson, prs... but this one kills em all. And take a look at the price, so I you want a nearly perfect and distinguished instrument, buy a gibson. I'd like to be the only one to play it.....

I live in Germany, so please have mercy - my english might be horrible ;) I own a Q-Deluxe archtop Zerberus-Guitar in a colour called arctic-blue-burst. I was checking around for a guitar to replace my Epiphone as I have seen the Zerberus on ebay. This was exactly, what I have been dreaming of. Facts: It's beautyfull double cut archtop guitar with a set neck and a korina-body. It has got a solid quilted maple top. (I love the highly figured maple)
The set in neck has got 24 accurate frets and the back of the neck has got at glossy finish. The neck is made of hard maple and the fretboard is made of rosewood (has a nice block-inlay with zerberus-name at fret 12). The pickup configuration is H/H and the controls are - this guitar has 2 voulme- and 1 tone-control and a 3-way-switch. The components are realy great. There are gold-plated dome-speed-knobs and tuners (non-locking). The guitar has a gold plated Floyd Rose license tremolo which works realy fine. No problems with floyd rose at all. The guitar has a Schaller-style locking nut, so you can do divebombs without any regrets. Don't know what brand the zebra-pickups are but I know - those bricks realy rock seriously!!
If it would have H/S/H configuration I would give it a 10.

The guitars realy sounds absolutely killer !!! The set neck quarantes a great sustain and the pickups kick but big time. Only problem for me is, that it doesn't have any single-coil-sound at all.(I play blues, southern rock and some heavy-guitar-solos) So all sounds are fat and loud. You can work with the 2 volume-potis very well, but I realy miss the single-coil. I quess, I should go for one of the S/S/H or H/S/H equipped zerberus-modells. So if you realy want to rock - this is the guitar for you ! If you want to sound more straty - go for the Zerberus Nat-Deluxe or the S-Flame. I realy love the sound, but sometimes I wish it had a single-coil on it. At all, the guitar sound very rich with lots of sustain and drive. Noisy ?? No way !! I use to play it on an old H/H 100-Watts combo (2 x EV '12 equipped / made in Cambridge /UK around 1970)and a zoom GFX707 or 9002pro. It can sound very warm and sensible if you play it clean but it will definitely kick ass as soon as you play it with overdrive or distortion. The guitars is not as variable as a H/S/H equipped guitar but the 2 volumes give you a good control.

The guitar was realy set up excellent, as I received it. The action was great from the first second. I only had to tune it and that's all.
The pickups was perfectly adjusted. No problems at all. The paintjob is phantastic and the quality of woods and components is great at all.
The neck is perfectly set into the body and the neck is very straight and comfortable. Great job !!!

I received the guitar two weeks ago and played it instantly ;) (once you got it in your hands, you can't stop playing it)
The guitar is built very durable and it doesn't look as it's gona break to soon ;)
I would rely on it 100% and will not need any backup.
The finish looks sturdy and the hardware is excellent, so I am shure it will not break. I always baby my instruments, so the Zerberus will be played by my kids kids kids... ;)

The guy who sold me the guitar was very friendly and helpfull. He personaly cares for customers support and contact + he builds very cool handmade guitars, too. I am shure, I can rely on him if I ever have any problem with the guitar.

I have been playing guitar for aprox 20 years and I owned a lot of different guitars. Some Ibanez oldtimers (LP-copy; SG-copy; Rickenbaker-copy....) some excellent Yamahas (821) some shitty Yamahas, some Fenders some Squiers, some Heritage (great) and so on plus some amps (Sound-City, Huges&Kettner, Fender evil twin, Sun....)
But this is the best guitar, I ever had. I checked around for some PRS, Anderson, Gibson, Ibanez but I could'nt find a better guitar for that phantastic price. I was thinkin about about exchanging the Q-Deluxe for a Nat-Deluxe with it's H/S/H pickups configuration but now it's to late - I fell in love with my guitar. I love the distinquished expensive look of the guitar and I love to tell: Hey..this is a rare guitar so it's not played by 1000000 morons on 10000 stages. So you can only order it by e-mail on the zerberus-homepage (www.zerberus-guitars.de). I don't know, if the friendly guy sells the guitars worldwide. This time, it's cool to live in Germany because I can get my Zerberus easyly ;) If it were stolen or lost ?? I would get me another one (Nat-Deluxe) in a second. All in all a very beautyfull and damn good sounding guitar for an excellent price.
