This Zerberus S-Flame of the german luthier Frank Scheucher in Speyer must be a 2 -3 year old one. It's made totally in korea on the specifications of Frank. He is doing the finally set-up on every guitar he sells on his own.
It's a strat kind guitar with 3 piece basswood-body with a flamed top in dark blue transparent, got 24 frets with dot-inlays, a passive H/S/S configuration with one master-volume, one master-tone control and a 5-way selector. It also has a Floyd Rose licenced trem and a locking tuner system.

Making music for about 30 years now and playing all different types of styles from hard-rock to blues and pop, even own music, this Zerberus S-Flame offers a huge kind of sound.
I use different kind of amps from yamaha G100-112, a Laney Pro-Tube 50 and sometimes some Marshall-Tops or Tech 21 together with a ZOOM-GFX8 and a Talk-Box.
The Single-Coils are a little noisy, but just the way it's ought to be for getting into the original blues, hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan feeling or sounding almoust like Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple.
The Humbucker gives you a massive sound for all the absolute hard rock stuff and working together with the absolute good working volume and tone controll, you even are able playing Santana-styled songs with lots of sustain. This Zerberus sings. There's only one thing I would like to change and thats a splitted Humbucker for even more power and change the shape into a FLYING V (I just love the Vees!!!!) *lol*

even tho' this Zerberus was (and still is) a used one, the action was simply perfect. Everything is the way it ought to be. It looked like new. Frank was still polishing it when I arrived to pick it up.

yep. Everything on this guitar looks like lasting forever what I can't say about all of my almoust 40 guitars, but this Zerberus is programmed to get a few dings and dongs like every loved playing machine and like the best football-players will once get a broken bone if they're trying to show there best (everything can get fixed again!)

I was riding ebay again, when I saw a Zerberus-Morpheus that looked a little like the guits of a mate of mine, Nik Huber (Rolls-Royce of guitars). After reading his hompage (www.zerberusgitarren.de), I sent him a mail to ask him to build me a custom one. The next day he called (!) me and we were talking for almoust an hour. Therefor I started working again after 3 years without work, I neither had enough money for a custom nor for his excellent Morpheus-model, so I asked him for a used one. After a few seconds he remembered, having this used blue S-Flamed from a guy who bought one of his new Deluxe. When he told me the price, I couldn't believe and went to his home (about 80 miles). He and his family are that kind of nice, you can't believe it.
If you are ever looking for a brilliant sounding and looking guitar that shoud stay with you for a lifetime, just give him a call. Do it before his Zerberus guitars are famous.

Playing for more than 30 years, playing all brands like fender, gibson, hamer, ibanez, samick, fenix, yamaha, aria, claim, customs........... I just can say that this Zerberus has the sound and the features that I like best. The only guitar that still beats the Zerberus are the new Zerberus Morpheus and Deluxe and the Nik Huber guitars (sorry Frank). But I can't afford a Huber. I'll never have enough money for a Huber, so for this price, I'm totally satisfied with this darkblue S-Flamed Zerberus. Thanks Frank!!
I would ever buy a new one without testing it.
