Ease of Use : 8
Simple and clear enough

Features : 8
Keyboard action smooth and even. Use this board exclusively for 8 track recording. I have it patched into my Tascam 488 via the headphone jack. I am very please with the sound reproduction. The only challenge is monitoring the changes in output volume level as you swithc between voices. Changing voices and styles is easy enough, but wish you could control the volume balance between voice and style better. Hey for what I paid, it's great!

Expressiveness/Sounds : 7
The drums are the best. I just have to watch the high-hat clashes. They sometimes peak my recording volume. The other sounds are very acceptable. Some like the woodwinds and brass are poor, but there are some great Electric pianos. I also like the combination voices like Vibes and Bass, etc. These split the keyboard with two voices.

Reliability : 10
I bought this used three years ago and have been recording steadily since then. I'd buy another one in a minute. Worth every penny.

I like the simplicity of this unit. I have enough to think about composing and being a technician. I wouldn't like to have to worry about the keyboard on top of that. I just turn it on, punch in a voice, pick a tempo and play.
