Ease of Use : 10
Everyone that can use a midi keyboard
will be at ease.

Features : 9
Everything we need for basic midi

Expressiveness/Sounds : 6
Keyboard is good for step or VERY basic sequencing.
Install files take WAY too much space;
there should be a custom install that allow
user to install only the midi driver.
Instead, the user have to manually clean the hard disk after instalation: quite annoying!

Reliability : 6
Too bad it don't work with my electronic KVM switch...
Otherwise it seems quite good that's why I give 6.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 8
Very nice product but 2 drawbacks:
KVM incompatibility and install take too much space.

this little gem barely fits into any category, but to sum it up...

It's a musician's keyboard.

Real ibm PC compatible keyboard combined with a 37 key piano style
keyboard all in the one slab! :)

I have to say that the software is fun to toy with, but its real
glory comes when you want to toy with samples and audition them
before you commit to playing them on your e drum kit or synth on the
other side of your studio divider etc. GREAT for tapping riffs into
your chosen midi application as a full featured midi controller with
volume and pitch wheels as well as octave shifting.

I was simply blown away by its ease of installation and use.
Since it arrived a week ago, I have already pounded out several
hours of ideas. Great tool and if you get it during the promotion,
it comes with a nice lil optical mouse.

Features : 10
The keys are touch sensitive, yet small enough to conform to the
standard width of any keyboard.
It contains a pitch wheel, volume wheel as well as quick start buttons, octave shift, sustain etc.

When the music section of the keyboard is not in use, a hard cover
snaps into place making it the most comfortable keyboard I have ever
used in my 20+ years of computing.

Expressiveness/Sounds : 10
This varies with your sample set / sound fonts you have set up.
I will give this a 10 as it is as good as my best samples, and they simply rule! :)

Reliability : 9
I have this set up on a mechanical kvm (keyboard, video & mouse) switch.
From time to time it seems to not pick up on one system, requiring me to
switch back to another system and back again. This seems to cure the problem.

I would use this on a gig if I required a computer on a gig.
Otherwise, my guitar synth does the job just fine.

I will give it a 9 based on the kvm issue, but that's probably only the fault of the host computer and it is easily remedied.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I really don't know as I have never had a problem with any creative
product I have ever owned.

Overall Rating : 10
This is a replaceable item in terms of price etc...
but if I could never get another one I would be royally upset if I lost or broke it.
This tool will surely become a must have in every studio out there.
My studio is just a personal studio for my own material, but all that
have entered, have enquired about the keyboard in a WOW kind of way.
