Ease of Use

about 24 years ago it had been quite interesting - now its simply old!
Forget all these digital questions - its is sawtooth oscillator with two VCF. The velocity sensitive keys affect the volume and the filtertuning (if wanted!)
Manual: yes, but very poor!
Features
:
1
Midi was invented some years later - so no facilities!
Polyphony - complete, since it is something like an electric analogue organ!
Expressiveness/Sounds
:
4
"piano-like" sounds - compared with todays standards very poor!
6 presets, one free for the use of the VCF and tremulo.
The velocity sensitve keys are ok!
two VCF for sound manipulation, tremulo.
Reliability
:
7
One weakness: key contacts trend to break. If you can find the appropriate wire you can repair it.

None! Crumar does not exist any longer!

After 24 years - no question, it is far away from the actual standards!! The DP 50 is a part of the keyboard-history, not the best!

No software. Presets sound very horrible, terrible and strange. It has two filters which you can play with. I don't have any manuals.
Features

Polyphony yes, but the sounds are so strange that I can't play more than one note at a time. Tremolo is in-built. No expansions. No midi. It has, though, pressure sensitive keys.
Expressiveness/Sounds

Terrible sounds. Strange bleeping noises, it doesn't work with anything. Tremolo doesn't sound very good with the sounds it has to offer. Haven't noticed any velocity or aftertouch. After shave, maybe.
Reliability

Yes, you can depend on it. You can drop it from an airplane an d you can still hear it bleeping on the ground. You can't kill it, it's a monster. I wouldn't use it on a gig anywhere.

Don't know who the hell has brought it here, but I was the stupid one and bought it.

Come and steal it, I won't regret. I'd give you money if you took it away!!! I wish it had the sounds I wanted but it didn't have. Make music with it? Never ever. You can paint it green and drop in the sea.

The crumar DP 50 seems to be a stage piano with 14? pre-programmed and 2 "free" presets.
I'm still searching someone who could email me the manuals.....
Features
:

As far as I could get, it should be around 20x polyphonic. The only built in effect is a tremolo circuit. It is NOT expandable, no MIDI, no sequencer....
Expressiveness/Sounds
:

There are 2 sound"banks". One is a 1980's stage piano sound, the other sounds more like fender rhodes... We use it for some rock tunes and ballads. The tremolo effect's damaged, as I found out :-(, but the aftertouch seems to work.,..
Reliability

Yes, we used it on some gigs, without any backups.
