Ease of Use : 1
This was the biggest draw back for me after owning an SQ-1. Too many multifunction bottons with often unpredicitable results.

Features : 10
The sounds are killer except for the pianos. They are ok and not embarassing but lack the warmth of Roland. GOOD fat synths, brass, Rhodes, organs, and really cool strings.

Expressiveness/Sounds : 5
the effects are great but hard to use

Reliability : 10
I had several... Never a problem

Customer Support : No Opinion
NONE!

Overall Rating : 8
Even though it is NOT user friendly I could not live witht out the sounds. I currently have two and have worked around the problems in use.

If you know the basic parameters you will not face any difficulties
around the ways to create your own sounds (which is this the main reason I like this one)or if you want to arrange a multitimbral setup of existing sounds in it.

Features : 9
Sure, it has a wide variety of parameter routings and for me as a
programming nerd I do enjoy it. This module has got things that others modules don't. You may alter the waveforms which among many things is real nice. And there is an input for a control signal which is more than superb. You can connect a footpedal to it if you like.
Since up to 3 waveforms can be combined for each single program you
can have quite rich sounds.
The multieffect is very good because there are many parameters in it. Not just chorus speed and reverb decay. And with a phaser too, you
get a step further. (Yes I love the phaser effect!)

Expressiveness/Sounds : 9
As mentioned above the ordinary instrument sounds can be used as they are, or complex waveforms can be chosen. There are a couple of types of waveforms with different characters so no complaints here.

Reliability : 10
It has always worked. No crashes.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't needed any support.

Overall Rating : 9
I would want to get it again if I sell it for any reason. It has enough unique characters that cannot be replaced by other modules made by other brands. Some sounds from this box do give inspiration. I may compare it to the Ensoniq VFX/VFX-SD/VFX SD-1 (and probably TS-10/12 too). I have a VFX which is probably somewhat more complex and I love that one as well. If you like to do odd sounds this is a module with which you can do odd sounds, if you have some patience, talent and will. That's what music about too.
