Ease of Use

First of all, I traded my Oxygen 8 for this one on the same day for this evo MK-225C. After three minutes of installing the USB and MIDI drivers, I immediately was able to play it. It has a numeric keypad that helps to input accurate numbers for E.G. controllernumbers and values. Unlike the Oxygen-8, that has a lot of double functions and the data entry is hard and un-accurate.

Unlike the Oxy 8, The Evo has a full octave reach. It features 8 assignalbe knobs, a pitch wheel and an assignable mod. wheel. It has 25 keys. Also a USB port, MIDI-out, footswitch.
Expressiveness/Sounds
:

Has no sounds, so I'm done here.
Reliability

When I first used the Oxygen 8, the data slider came off when I used it. After that the pitch wheel made a plastic crisp sound and the keys felt mushy. Obviously not built to last. Unlike the Evolution. Decent build quality, strong knobs and good keyboard feel. I think the unit will last me plenty years (home-studio use). Reckon you can gig with it too. Very reliable. I've been using it for a month.

Since there are increasingly more midi controllers coming out, I don't know if I would replace it with the same one. But if crap like the Oxygen 8 is still being made, I sure as hell would buy the dependable Evolution MK225 any old time!
