Ease of Use : 7
The pedalboard's easy enough to use, there's only 4 buttons to worry about, bank select, midi channel select, transpose, and program select. The manual explains everything, but is very brief. However, it's a pain in the ass to change things on the fly, because you have to hold down one of the buttons and then input the changes by pressing the pedals, so unless you're sitting down and can lift both your feet to do the work, it is impossible to change stuff in the middle of a song.. you have to bend down and hold the button with your hand, which is a bit annoying, I think. Very.

Features : 6
it's got 17 pedals, midi out, blah blah blah. I'm still pissed off about the lack of on the fly controls. If they could've at least put in some controls to step up or down a list of patches, then that would've been better. but no, instead I have to get down on my knees and punch in the midi patch number. fuck that.

Expressiveness/Sounds : 9
the velocity is a bit too sensitive... sometimes I don't press down hard enough cause it's hard to get them ol' feet working right, but I'll get used to it eventually.

Reliability : No Opinion
it looks reliable enough for me.

if it were stolen, I'd go kick the fucker's ass. Even though some things really annoy me, like the lack of a sustain feature, where you hit a pedal and it sustains until you hit another one (I think the Roland PK-5 has that feature), I still love it, it's my first set, and I use it for synth backing in my band, since I usually play bass. I was going to get the PK-5 from the same guy I got this from, but someone had already bought it the week before. No big deal. It's been great so far, just had it a few days, but I'm having a lot of fun playing my acoustic and the pedals and coming up with cool stuff to play. Yep yep. Great stuff.
