The Hohner electra is a simple electric piano like the fender rhodes/wurlitzer etc. It only has one sound, its not possible to manipulate that sound, boost the bass or something. Theres only a volume knob. Therefor, of course it is very easy to use, well - its pretty heavy...

heavy piano-like keys, good mechanics. no built-in effects, of course no midi or any other sequenzers. There is a sustain pedal and another pedal to soften the sound.

The Hohner electra piano is a vintage instrument. The sound is quite close to the Rhodes, but slightly sharper. The built-in loudspeakers sound dull and crappy so you better use a good amp. The keys react fine, its fun to play on this one.

I dont have it for such a long time. But due to the solid simple built up Im sure I wont have any bigger trouble with it. I wouldnt use it on a gig - because it is quite heavy and has a solid body which makes it not easy to carry even with two persons.

Its worth all the 131 EUR (=120 USD). That isnt very much money though. I would have paid even more for it. I own it for a week now, it adds a nice flavour to my sound. Beside the Hohner I own a fender rhodes, other vintage stuff like the solina string or the korg 800d.
My fender rhodes is in a bad condition, some lower keys dont work well so I was looking for a cheap vintage e-piano because we use this sound quite often in our music.
The sound is quite similar to the Rhodes, but it was much cheaper to buy this one than to go for a used Rhodes.
I already used it on two songs I am recording right now and I really like the sound.
