Ease of Use

This is an old vintage piano, 61 keys. You play it like a piano, and the other features are self explanatory
Features
:

Limited features, has a master volume slider, and then a slider for piano volume and another slider for steelguitar/harpsichord volume. Also a slider for vibrato which only controls speed, not pitch. A push button to turn on/off vibrato and a push button to turn on/off delay for vibrato (not adjustable). It has a slider for bass volume as well as an on/off button. Back panel has 1/4" out for main out and one for bass out. 1/4" input for sustain pedal. Back panel also allows individual tuning for all 12 tones, but it must be done with a screwdriver. As I said very limited, but for these electronic pianos, it has more features than a lot of them I've seen, so I give it an 8
Expressiveness/Sounds

Ok, it's one of these italian electronic pianos I have a univox one as well, the sounds are almost identical...for all I know they may have been made by the same company. However, one big difference is that the volume sliders act like high/low pass filters. The piano sound by itself is really muted and muddy. The harpsichord sound is really tinny, and thin. But with the right combination of the two, you get a pretty useable sound. I prefer it to the univox and it can almost sound like a piano- It's really not that bad!! However, you're really limited with it's uses. I don't think anybody could use it as their main "axe" but it's kinda fun to have around. The bass sound is kinda meaty, I've been thinking about sampling a riff on it, but haven't gotten there yet. The vibrato sound is ok, really 60's organ like (thomas or wurlitzer NOT hammond) but I wish you could get the vibrato w/o the pitch change, more like a tremelo or something, because the vibrato can be sometimes unpredictable when playing.
Reliability

No Opinion
I have no idea, never played out with it. But it weighs a ton for what it does, so I suppose that accounts for something.

I give this an 8 because like I said, it's the best electronic piano I've seen. The fact that you can tune each note individually is kinda cool, I haven't done anything with that, but I know high end vintage synths like a sci prophet 5 had this function. I'd love to gig with this sometime, but it's not really practical and I haven't written anything on it yet (I did write a great piece that uses the univox compac 2, but never played it out). It would be tough to justify the weight/performance ratio for a gig, because I've got lots of other better gear-juno 60, rhodes suitcase, sci six trak, ensoniq eps 16+, plus others. I originally bought this only because I have a pianet t which I really like and I was just curious of quality comparison. Hohner stuff is kinda underrated in my opinion. There's not tons of it out there, and some of it is pretty good.
