This analog synthesizer is a bit different than what normal analog synth's like moog or roland are. The envelopes work very different because there's only attack and decay. The sustain and release are controled with a 3 way mixer wich also controls the LFO. So it takes a litle while to understand. I didn't have a manual so I got it from the teisco site. It doesn't have pre-sets.

It's a monophonic analog synthesizer with 1 VCO and 1 24db lowpass filter with a resonance slider. It has also a 12db highpass filter without resonance. The VCO can be set in low,64",32",16",8",4" and 2" so it has a big range. It's possible to modulate the lowpass filter with the oscillator and you can set the pulse(sawtooth/squarwave) independent from the VCO. The LFO goes from 0,03 til 50hz. With it you can modulate the cutoff frequency and the VCO. There's also a delayed vibrato with a control slider on board. It's built in 1977 so it has no midi or sequencer. It has voltage control in's and out's but it works different then what's standard.

The VCO has a great sound and the filters are also great. It has no aftertouch or velocity. I think it's one of the best sounding little synth's I've ever heard. It's very versetile in use. I'm an industrial musician and this little gem delivers a great job. I think it's in the same leque as arp axxe.

It's built like a tank and still works great
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
It's 30 years old so it has no garantee. But there lives an arp repair man 9 kilometres from where I live.

If it's stolen I'll never get it for the same price I piad. It's a very good and brute synth.
