Ease of Use

Still using ver.1.00 but have downloaded ver. 1.21 from E-MU's website but have no need to upgrade yet. The presets sound good and give you a good template for change. Editing is very straight forward. The manual would have been huge if not for the CD supplied with the unit.

64 voices is adequate but not as much as my Proteus 2K. The biggest plus is expansion. I have downloaded new arps and new lead sounds from E-MU's website. There are 63 new lead presets that were just posted over the weekend and the arp presets along with some additional presets were posted about 2 months ago. I have also purchased the PurePhatt ROM(ROM from the MO'PHATT)to put in the extra expansion slot that is provided(shipping soon).
Expressiveness/Sounds

Geared more for Techno, but when I add the Phatt ROM, that will add a whole new genre. The sounds are good, I just hope E-MU keeps posing new ones frequently.

No problems with any of my E-MU products as of yet.........knock on wood.

I would definately buy it again if I had to. I also own the Proteus 2K and the Launch Pad buy E-MU, an O1/wfd and M1 by Korg and a D-50 and Juno-1 by Roland.
