Very good unit, if it was a little bit smaller I think could be the best performance keyboard/sampler/synthesizer calculated for a small user like me, but 20 kg of weight make the difference. But now I did'n sell my little/big jewel made by KORG! I LOVE IT!!!

It is basically as easy to use as any of the early synths--learn
the routine, and it works. Loading sounds every time from the disk
is a bit of a pain, but I have an extra drive, manual, etc. for sale
at ebay if anyone is looking for one (item #1456057197).

Polyphony is only eight, but 44k sampling makes good for effects.

The sounds are pretty good, due to the sampling capabilty.
The keyboard has a good, though sensitive touch.

I've not had any problems.

The DDS-1 is past its prime, but a good novelty instrument, or for
creative playing around.
