Ease of Use : 8
If you know what you bought and if you know what midi protocol is, what you can really do with it. It might be very easy in use. I read the other 3 reviews... I think some people always complain about the features when they actualy mean: I don't understand **** about what I bought. I am using one for two years now and I think it is the best thing I bought! I really think Editing the Ozonic is really VERY SIMPLE! If you understand the language it is speaking... People do not understand the manual... because in that case, the manual is not really explainen Midi Protocol... The manual features everything you need! I could program yhis machine without reading the man in 5 minutes...

Features : 8
If you look to all the features it has onboard. The ozonic has 10 memory recalls to be programmed like you want! Of course the trick again is not the machine. But the human. You have to make plans, really drawing plans... about how you want to use it...This machine has also 24bit Asio soundcard onboard. In ableton with I has 3.5msec latency. You read that right. It has fantom power onboard for my mic if that isn't brilliant... Even I can plug in my guitar... Only novation has some controller as ozonic like. This is a quality all in one peace. And it is from plastic because we are living in 2009... the enigma software works PERFECT... features compared with todays other technology, atleast 8

Expressiveness/Sounds : 7
Really Everything works perfectually! Alomost of course... My input for my mic has a little noise problem... But if I take a good look in my spectrum when I measure it. It's only there when I put input volume to 85%, there it start a little... No noise is good noise... But there are very simple mastering techniques around it, If you of course have the knowledge of it. balanced pair of outputs! Footpedal control... X/Y controller wich I do not use that much... It works pretty fine but I rather like a Korg x/y controlpad like kaoss pad... There is a machine by novation that has it to!

Reliability : 9
It is still working afther two years. No problems! Works really fine! It is doing everything I want it to do... I cannot believe people have trouble...

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have no idea... I ones downloaded a new driver and the enigma software... The download took me 20 seconds...

Overall Rating : 9
I have alot of gear. The ozonic is my master keyboard and I think it is not quickly replaced. I am following the technology very well. I use trigger finger also to expand possibilities of control. It works fine, features too. Great all in one machine for electronic musicians!

Ease of Use : 5
Easy, if it does not stop functioning

Features : 8
Tons of features: midi in/out, 4 1/4' jacks, tons of asigneable knobs, but your lucky if your computer recognizes it for longer than 30 mins, befoe you have to re-instal the drivers so it'll work again.
Pretty dman ennoying if you planned on using it to play live.

Expressiveness/Sounds : 5
Nice keyboard, decent knobs & sliders; aliitle on the "toy" side of things, could be more sturdy, but I guyes it wold be as "portable".

Reliability : 1
Absolutely NOT!!!

Customer Support : 2
weak at best

Overall Rating : 1
After all the warnings I was given about M-audio controlers by other music makers & performers, I still went out & bought 1...
...what an IDIOT I was to do so.

Ease of Use : 5
Running under Windows XP with Tracktion 2 and NI Essentials
Using included firewire to a Pentium D820 Dual Core w 1Gb RAM
M-Audio Delta 1010lt sound card
I haven't been able to use some of the functions of the Ozonic like saving whole keyboard setups and recalling them, I figure it should be easy to do just set the controllers and press a few keys and save to a preset for some reason I can't get it to work either I have a defective keyboard or I am missing some instruction? The software Enigma that you can download from M-audio also I could not get to work. I also attempted to use Midi cords to use the Ozonic but I couldn't get that to work either. What did work. Once the firewire was set up and Tracktion all set up the Velocity Sensitive Keyboard worked great was able to map out the joystick and aftertouch to Absynth. It seems to work solid with no crashes. I am using the included drivers from M-audio for the Ozonic and my Delta 1010lt. I get error messages when trying to install the newer M-audio drivers.

Features : 8

Expressiveness/Sounds : 8
The Velocity sensitive keyboard can give you nice dynamics as does aftertouch and the joystick when mapped to your filter on your VST etc.
You can set the limits on the midi controls.
You can pretty much set up the Velocity feel of it and how the controllers react so should be good for almost any style of music.

Reliability : 5
with the firewire have not had it crash on me although I read other users have had problems. The firewire connection looks a bit delicate so I can see that maybe wearing out if it gets knocked.
Can't say how it will last over time. Slightly on the plasticky side. Right off the bat couldn't install the latest drivers and Enigma never worked and can't get the custom midi maps to save and be recalled.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Just recently emailed m-audio have not heard back yet......

Overall Rating : 6
Despite the problems I can still use it. I am new to all this so I may just be missing something. If anyone knows anything about how to install the new drivers or how to get Enigma or the presets working don't hesitate to email me!
