Amazing! This is a very strong, versatile synth. This synth is similar to a modular as you can patch things wherever you want. It is easy to use once you download a manual (or an xpander manual is close enough). There are certain modifiers that I had never seen before Beyond having LFOs, FM, Filters, and envelopes, there are also RAMPS and Tracking Generators which can all come together to create some amazing sounds. For each patch, there are 5 envelopes, 5 LFOs, 5 tracking generators, and 3 RAMPS. As for the filter, there are 15 different filter modes! as for polyphony, it is like having 2 xpanders...you can combine up to 12 patches if you want or just play one patch at a time...or 12 different patches at the same time!

This synth is the best synth I have ever used. Ive owned a good amount og analogs and used many more - jupiter 6, sh-101, se-1x, 303, juno 106,....I make electro/techno/detroit/breakbeat.....underground dacne msic and i find that this synth works amazingly. It can be smooth or aggressive and its fatter side is really good because it can sit in a mix much easier than many other synths of used such as a fat moog sound. not that i don't love a good moog, or jupiter but i really like the tone of this synth a bit more. and its ability to be present and not take up too much of the mix. From fat bass, to the wildest, evolving space pads, to acid, this synth is beautiful. I like sci-fi/horror type soundtrack music, and this synth is the ulitmate for these sounds to me. as for its analog sound... its impossible to describe how good it sounds. its perfect.
