Ease of Use
:

I bought this one second hand, and immediately had to gig with it that evening. That meant that I had exactly half an hour to program it. Luckily I had the manual, and within half an hour all the presets were in to control my rack. Easy to use.

This thing is the rolls of the keyboards. It weights a f*&^%$#$$%cking 30 kiliograms (with case 47!!!) but when it's on your stand: Way to go! 88 fully weighted keys with editable velocitycurves and polyfonic aftertouch (which one has it? This one does!) 4 MIDI outs, all mutable, 2 midi Ins and midi thru. The MIDI 1 is equipped with an merge-possibility with the data processed bij A80 own keybord, so oyu can connect another controller sending on differnet channels (I use Roland D70, also sending on 4 channels, thats 8 at once!) Besides of that you can hook up a remote keybord, which sends on the same channel(s) as the A80 own keybord. Data backup with cards and MIDIdump.

This thing is the amsterpiece of my setup (Roland D70, Roland JX10, Korg Polysix; Rack: Kurzweil MicroPiano, Roland JV880, Yamaha TX802) It controls everything. Playing it feels like driving in a Rolls Royce.
