Great Effects and new Accustic Illussion Effect Button, which simulates 3D Sound. It makes lot of fun to work with the Sequencer,
because it has a big graphic display (320x240). You can use all Sounds
which the Keyboard includes, when you use Midi Files, with the "Load
GM into Tech". Most Keyboards offer only the Standart 128 GM Sounds in the Midi Mode.

Presets (256 + 128GM sounds) are easy to use and find your way around. Excellent large screen (320x240) to navigate around the instrument. Conductor feature easy (selecting sounds during "performance"). Not easy to get lost.
8 banks x 3 panel memory easy to use and save away. Disk save etc. no problem.
All in all, very intuitive interface - this for someone not used to playing instruments you plug in!
Manual is very readable and easy to find what you're after.

64-note polyphony is fine for me. As I'm a pianist I don't much care for synth keyboars anyway but this one seems good as far as I can tell. 61 keys initial touch.
Haven't really delved into all of the MIDI capabilities yet although it seems to have them all...
The internal speakers (4 of them, 15W x 2) and amp are excellent (if you like that sort of thing...) - twice the output of the usual rivals.
Large range of styles and ryhthm section. Performance pads are fun and can make life easy.
Sequencer (16 track, 40,000 notes) is easy to use and Quick record feature is useful for getting something into memory quickly without all that messing around in the sequencer.

Most of the presets on this keyboard are pretty good and the editing features allow you to tweak them fairly easily. My one complaint is the lack of a really good piano sound. Electric pianos are not bad, strings, guitars, sax and flute sounds are good. Drawbars are excellent - special editing features for these. Good "Big Band" sounds too.
Some of the sounds in memory are different, e.g. Field Of Voices is my favourite.

I lug it around a lot. It's not too heavy (25lbs/11kg) and it shows no signs of wear yet (6 months). Seems reliable to me.

Not had to use them. Don't expect to have to (who does?).

I like it! Compared to the usual comparable offerings from Yamaha, Roland etc. and I personally think it beats them on most things (definitely needs a better piano sound though).
I would miss it if lost. Don't know of anything I would replace it with in the same price range though. Certainly added a whole new range of capabilities to my playing.
Got a lot going for it!
