Customer Support : No Opinion
No he tenido ninguna experiencia al respecto

Overall Rating : 9

This portable two-manual organ has its presets divided in groups: Organ presets (analog), drawbar voices (analog), pianos (analog), orchestral voices (analog), strings (analog), choir (analog), solo synthesizer voices (digital), and bass (digital).
All presets has their own button exept drawbars that uses the same buttons (!) as the organ presets while the position of the "virtual" drawbar is monitored on an LCD display. I would have preferred real physical drawbars.
There is a programmable chord computer where the accomp. for a song can be entered - usefull if you play another instrument (saxophone in my case) and can't afford a real orchestra. But unfortunately the programming could be more straight forward. Luckily a have the manual which is really good. It solved all problems.

The keyboards are not touch or velocity sensitive - but who would want a velocity sensitive organ anyway! The keyboards are well buildt - not the best I have played but above average. The bass pedals could be better. They are too wobbly and not very strong.
There are no MIDI but I think it is possible to have it retrofitted. I don't need MIDI - I like to actually PLAY my instruments.
There is an onboard stereo electronic leslie and a very nice celeste effect (phaser). There is a footswitch that can act as a rhytm unit on/off switch or as a bend switch - bends one semitone down when pushed.

Expressiveness/Sounds : 8
None of the presets are very realistic except for the flute and clarinet solo synthesizer voices. But the organ is exellent for playing instrumental versions of 70's and 80's disco/dance music.
The drawbar voices are good analog sounding voices but much brighter and cleaner than a Hammond organ.
The rhytm unit has some very good digital rhytms but the instrument can also be used for playing J.M.Jarre-like music. The strings and choir sounds Oxygen-ish.
The piano sounds are not very good but I like the vibraphone and clavichord sound also found in the piano section.
The organ can be used for jazz but forget classic or techno.
There are an expression (volume) pedal, and the sustain can be off, permanently on, or knee-lever operated.

Reliability : 7
I have two of these organs. Both of them have had problems with the power supply. The faulty components were no longer available but fortunately a more common component could be used instead without problems. Luckily they failed at home when practicing.
One of them had two broken pedals when I bought it but that was fixed whith a little superglue and a small piece of metal.
I have performed with one of the organs without backup. What I did was that I took a smaller synthesizer whith me too. I used both the organ and the synth but if one of them should fail then I could continue on the other - off course in a style adapted to which instrument was working.

When I bought the first organ in 1999 (280$ used - in a music store) I contacted the Danish Technics agency and I got the impression that they were quite helpfull. But when I needed parts this year (2004) for the other organ (85$ at a second hand sale) they were no longer available and I got the impression that Technics didn't really care at all! So my rating is average for the two times I neaded help.

Overall Rating : 9
This organ is a great performer instrument. Especially if it is used whith one or two synthesizers and maybe an external rhytm unit. There is not much chance that it will be stolen since it is very heavy and most people consider it a piece of junk. It is worthless to people who can't play the organ (two hands and both feet) and the musicians who it was originally intended for (wedding anniversary musicians!) has long ago switched to wavetable instruments or MIDI workstations.
I chose it because I think Hammonds are extremely overrated and Wavetable organs are like plastic flowers: Pretty but still so far from the real thing. I like the organs from that period of time - just before everything went digital.
