I was looking for a cheap vintage electric piano and saw this on ebay. It had a very simple set-up and I could plug it into my Fender Pro Reverb Amp.
There are three tone controls labeled PIANO, HONKY TONK, and CLAVICORD. Think of them as LOW, MID, and TREBLE. There is also a volume control pot next to the tone switches.
Simple plug and play device.

Like I said very simple set-up.
The one I bought did not have any effects built into it. I do, however, hook up some effects from the output. I will usually plug in a fuzz, chorus, or delay pedal and that changes the tone well enough. There is a noticable volume loss when my fuzz is engaged. The tone distorts nicely but I have to crank the pedal to ten in order for it to be heard.
The uneffected tone is very limited in terms of different sounds but it's still quite useful and fun to play around with.

I'm still learning how to play but I think it's very expressive. Using the right amp helps a lot.

These are vintage pieces. So take care of them.

I don't think univox will service these anymore.

Cool electric piano that goes for cheap. If you find one that's fully functional with no issues, buy it.
There funky sounding and are great fun.
