Presets are what you'd expect out of early 80's portable synths- i.e. not great. The bass sounds are pretty big, and the organ sounds are why I bought the thing- very swirly and leslie-esque, especially with a bit of tweaking. Editing- hah! You've got a couple tonal tweaks, and the "symphonic" option- which is kind of like chorus.

Polyphony is good. It seems to be unlimited, and I'm not really sure why that is. Expansion/MIDI/sequencer- hah.

Like I said, I wanted solid organ sounds, and it delivers for me. I look for a hammond-esque sound and occasionally more of a Vox Jaguar sort of sound, and this thing can pull off both reasonably well. Other than that, it can do some decent bass sounds and some pretty neat textural type sounds. Also the "percussive" section (which I suppose are supposed to be bells) sounds nice with a ton of reverb on it (note that the keyboard, of course, does not have reverb)- kind of a 60's pop sort of piano sound.

I have several old Yamaha keyboards, and they're quite reliable in general. This one seems to be no exception.

It was worth what I paid, maybe more to someone in need of some organ sounds. Pretty limited and dated other than that and what's mentioned above. But there's something to be said for the simplicity of older equipment, and this is very, very simple. It's also got some nice history to it (google it if you're interested) and seems to be fairly rare. I've only been able to find one other review of it.
