I actually bought this "Clavinova" in 1994 and had fun of it ever since. The settings for sound colour and environment together with the 3 pedals dampening are perfect. The volume and stereosound with a sensitive touch on the keys make it almost as good and warm toned as an original classic Kawai or Steinberg. Built in possibilities of sampling and a good memory inside invite to record and sample diferent instruments. Good instrument !

The CLP-155, which came out in 1993-94, is a straightforward digital piano without a lot of the more recent gizmo features. What it does have is excellent stereo sound quality and nearly perfect touch. I have come to prefer it to the Steinway grand that my parents own. If you want an electronic instument with which to conduct sound experiments or if you need the latest computer interface capabilities, the CLP-155 may not be for you. If you're looking for a reasonably priced instrument for a serious, if traditional, musician, then this is definitely worth considering. They also hold up well. Mine is nearly 10 years old, and it looks and plays good as new.
