Reviewer Background :
Been recording in my home studio for awhile now (20years)and have purchased, rented and borrowed lots of microphones. I am using a tascam 2488 to record with then I transfer tracks to a computer for extra's. For monitoring I use a older set JBL 4311's and newer set of Yorkville YSM's through a Alessis power amp.

Overall Rating : 9
The 410 is a large diaphram condenser (cardioid pattern) with a 1" dimeter capsule. It has a switchable -6db 100Hz low frequency roll off and comes with a shock mount and metal carring case. I use this mic for vocals, acoustic guitars, drums, horns and anything that has a high sound pressure level, it is great do it all type of mic. Kind of like a condenser version of a SM57. For The Price It Can't Be Beat. I tried a couple of other "less expensive" condesers from Berhinger and Samson and it was no contest the 410 was cleaner sounding while not haveing a brittle high end.
