Cardioid Condenser Microphone, large-diaphragm capsule, low-profile configuration (does not obscure view), rugged enough for live sound applications, excellent for instrument miking and vocal groups. I use it mainly for choral groups, with excellent sensitivity (for distant miking) and a warm and natural sound, not cold like many other choral mics.
