This is a fig 8 , ribbon mic.

Used on a lute, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, guitar amp, and drums

Also an excellent room mic

Really is a proper vintage ribbon reproduction mic, not new and shiny - a lot of guts, warmth and true reproduction - unique use

Darker sound than some but reacted well to eq boost, very well

Yes heartedly recommended for the above
