This is a large condenser mostly used for vocals but excells at anything you put in front of it. Just looking at this is impressive. The velvet lined staff and the hefty grill, (think royer with attitude). I bought this mic on ebay for under 200. with a good shock mount and beautiful case just out of curiosity and WOW was I supprised! I have used many top level mics' in the past 30 years I have been in the music business, you know the gammit, (neumann, akg, telefunken, and the like) and I have to tell you that I got one of the creamiest volcal takes I ever got out of this mic pared with a Amek CIB channel strip. No joke. This chinese mic delivers the goods in spades. You owe it to yourself to own one. I do not work for or am affiliated with this company in any way. I just wanted to pass this along. In my opinion this microphone is worth and sounds better than alot of classic in the 4000 range.
