I came back to see if the mic' had improved since the last one I had.
Sadly NO' although very convenient to use, the single-band is a deal killer as it is prone to other equipment in the area, also it goes unstable at times and emits piercing feed-back. sadly it must go

I would love to rate it but it is not a pro-user mic' for me, I have now gone to a shure' which tonally and quality wise kills it.

This is a headworn hyper-cardoid condenser microphone. I use it through a Samson wireless system and then through a Presonus Comp-16 compressor. I chose this mic over other options because the reviews were good and the way the gear goes behind rather than over the top of the head. I play guitar as I lead our worship team. I needed to be able to queue musicians and look at my own instrument in the difficult passages - without falling out of the mix. Beyond working well for that, I really have come to appreciate the sound of this fabulous combination. I will rate the mike a 9 because I believe the Presonus is adding some pleasant enhancement. A compressor is definitely needed as there is no standing away from the mic for dynamic control.
