Ribbon microphone, cardoid pattern, gives a low voltage.
I used it on solo voices, choirs, piano, church organ, Celtic harp and other instruments. It's a versatile microphone, one of my favorites for recording piano. It works well on male voices if you like a clean, neutral sound. And I used it to good effect on a bright female voice that sounded harsh when using a condenser mike.
Remember to be careful with ribbon mikes. Don't drop it, don't ever blow into it.
