Reviewer Background
:
I'm a proffesional drummer and studio-engineer/producer for over 25 years, but every now and then I do a little "live-engineering" with a vocal act and therefore I have small PA with wireless mikes.
I work with both pro-musicians amateurs.
I have a recordingstudio, equipped with everything you might expect in such a studio.

The microphone is a condenser mike with a cardiod pattern, designed for vocals and speech. It's wireless and works in de UHF-range.
I bought two of them, because I needed some cheaper "spare-mikes" for guests etc. that I can use next to the far more expensive Sennheisers that I use as main-mikes.
It feels rather light, and quite honestly, a bit cheap and I think you have to be careful when changing the batteries. Also the receiver is kinda small and looks fragile, but if you're careful: no problem!
But then: switch them on, adjust the gain and they sound incredibly good!! Really amazing how such a cheap mike can sound like this.
I wouldn't mind working with them all the time if they felt a bit more "pro". No drop outs in audio as long as you stay within reasonable distance from the receiver (50 mtr is no problem).
I sincerely think it's amazing value for money. I even used it on an acoustic guitar and it also did a fine job. I think it's much better than many budget wireless sets from vaque manufactures that cost only slightly less (or maybe even a little more...)
Highly recommended and dB Technologies have more mikes like these.
I was somewhat amazed that this is the first review of this brand.....
Check them out!
