Small-diaphram TUBE condenser mic. Comes with seperate power supply, schock mount, wooden case for the mic, and an aluminum carrying case.
I am using this mostly on acoustic guitar---gut string, steel-string, archtop.
Absolutely fantastic sound and value!! A lot of character; not a "true reproduction" mic---but what a flattering sound. Warm and textural; great detail.
I sit in front of the best mics in the studios; this is not a vintage Neumann; but for the price it's an incredible value. A great tool to make great sounding recordings!!
BTW: I also own a T.Bone SCT700 large diaprham tube condenser and the RB500 Ribbon mic. The same goes for these---great value and great character-full sound! Gives a home studio/project studio great possibilities!!
