This unit has no keys, just 32 assignable knobs and 16 assignable buttons (and 16 dedicated buttons). It is powered via an AC cord. It is made of heavy duty plastic. I am using it along with a Yamaha S80 to control Reason 4.0.

I have found this to be the ultimate solution for controlling the kobs and faders on Reason 4.0 devices. It works perfectly...it is pretty much just plug and play, and you can assign them as you wish.
