This is for the updated B1520 Pro 15" 2way cab. Gone is the carpet and they have reshaped the cabinet to allow for a main/monitor application. I believe the rest of the goods are the same.

I have the passive version though musicians friend has an active version. Behringer rates these cabinets at a high power handling 800watts peak! I'm going with my gut and I'm going to say its probably significantly lower. Though while hooked up to a QSC USA400 they don't suffer at full tilt.
Tech:
High-performance 1,200-Watt loudspeaker
Extremely powerful 15" long-excursion driver
1.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver
50 Hz ??? 18 kHz frequency range (-10 dB), impedance 8 Ohms, (95 dB full space 1 W @ 1 m)
Versatile enclosure profile allows different positioning:
- 10 & 35 degree cluster and stacking mode
- stand mounting with 35-mm pole socket
- floor monitor wedge
Rotatable, unsymmetrical horn design allows driver adjustment for either horizontal floor monitor application or upright position
Overload-protection circuitry ensures optimal HF driver protection
Parallel input connectors allow linking of additional loudspeakers
Neutrik Speakon connectors

These cabinets don't sound like a JBL, Yamaha or an EV. They suffer slightly in the quality rating, but I'm spoiled anyway and listen to a set of Bose 901's in the living room. But if you want to rock a small club or bar you'll have no issues.

These cabs are jammed with extra features found on a high end manufacturer model. They could be slightly more versatile and include a 1/4 jack along with the speakons.

If you couple these with some sort of gold coverage you probably can't go wrong. The only reason I don't give these a full ten is because they aren't an EV or a Yamaha or whoever else you prefer here... I've used and owned several different brands of cabs throughout the years. Most of the time what I'm looking for is a good balance between affordability and quality. These cabs are a no brainer, they have a ton of sound for a small price. Horn driver protection circuitry is a must, and I believe Behringer has taken it a little farther than just a fuse, or a polyswitch. They've combined all those gizmos in these cabs and that makes for a more maintenance free playing experience! I will eventually get the matching 18's to make a qasi three way for my dj and late night giggin excursions!

This is a big 2-way PA speaker with a 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch horn driver for higher frequencies. The enclosure is made out of MDF and is covered with speaker carpet.

RMS power rating is 200 Watts, can be bi-amped, has neutrik speakon connectors. These are heavy speakers, weighing in at around 70 lbs each.

The sound is good for the price. I think these are a good value. The low end is good and they are big enough that a pair could cover a rather large show with approximately 300 people.

There are comfortable handles on the sides, has a polemount on the bottom and you can stack multiple B1520's with an extra hardware and they are stable. The speakers are heavy and it's kind of difficult for one person to life a B1520 onto a speaker stand but I have done it a couple times but I'm a 185lb guy that lifts weights regularly. I actually got a deal on a bunch of these speakers used from some guy and almost every one of them was broken. It appears that the hot glue that was used to attach the crossover inside the cabinet is weak and the crossover dislodges and it ends up just rattling around in there and it gets damaged. Well I ended up opening up each cabinet and fixed this, it was the same problem in ever cabinet. I used zip ties and liquid nails. Also some of the support blocks were also loose in the cabinets, they used some low quality glue. I used some liquid nails to reattach those too. After these fixes were completed I have had no problems for months.

The quality of this product, as with all Behringer products it seems, is hit or miss. I would probably not buy these for the full price when they are new. If you are going to use these for a PA system that is not going to be transported often then I think these are a great buy. But if you are going to be gigging a lot with them then look for something that can be transported easily and has better reliability.
