Here's where I have additional comments. Did several "sound checks" with the B215XL's and they sounded great. There's a big difference between a "line check" and "PERFORMANCE" level though! WOW, did these speakers show their stuff! I ran both cab's with one side of amp (750 watts @ 4 ohms) and with all the instruments (guitars, drums and bass) kickin' butt, the vocals cut through the mix like a hot knife thru BUTTA'! Good mixing and "pro" mics had a lot to do with it but I've used numerous cabs' (EV, JBL, EAW, YORKVILLE, etc.) and the Behringers kept up with them! All frequencies present here with a slight upper-mid "zing". Head-room in that range can be a good thing. It's better to turn it down than "have" to turn it up!

All that I have said is preceded by the MONEY factor here but in some cases you would be "hard-pressed" to beat these speakers at twice the price!

This is a new version of their B215, 15", 2 way cab. Identical in appearance, this new incarnation boasts heavier components and a substantially higher (1000 watts, peak) wattage capacity. Molded cabs with "holes for poles" designed to lay down n' tilt for monitor use. One major plus: Big power handling but LIGHT!

Again, these are a passive 15",2-way. Could be used as stand-alone cabs. or in conjunction with a sub for a big sound. I use these puppies with 18" subs and a Samson SX2400 amp and crossover (one side for subs, one side for tops) and this little system will kick your butt!!! Crossover point at 80Hz.

The jury is still out on "the sound" as I have'nt had them too long but the "show level" sound checks are awesome...

For the money, you can't beat these buggers. They're loud n' clear. Time will tell if they hold up. Concerning other reviews I've heard about "popped" woofers and blown crossovers all I can say is: Use adequate power (500 watts or more) and don't try to get super "low-end" out of um'. Don't be cheap, BUY SUBS.
