Whatever you do don't buy this crappy speaker not even for $100 used.
PLEASE DON'T !!
I have a lot of Behringer gear and I like it.
But stay away from this one. It has many engineering bugs and it WILL break down (my pair did the same multiple breaks as the guy below). And to seal the deal, note that the B300 has an SPL of 98 dB/1m which is ridiculous.
If you're still in for the cheap, take a look at the newer Behringer B212A and B215A

I'm a guitarist, so I don't know much about speakers, but I'll try to describe as good as possible: This is an active two-way speaker with eq for bass and treble and an ULN preamp. 15" woofer and a 1.25" driver. I don't know what it's enclosed in. Plastic?
Anyway, the specifications is quite alright. It may be tilted as a monitor, and it may be put on stand. It's easy to carry it around, and it makes enough sound for my band's practice room, or as a monitor on stage (though it's a bit big and heavy, so not for small club stages). I used my pair of B300's as monitors on a medium sized theatre stage, and it worked excellent. And at least it _seems_ solid.

It's powered, bi-amped, RMS output on the woofer is 200 W at 3 ohms, and the tweeter at 30 W at 8 ohms. It has a jack and a XLR input and a XLR output. It weighs 31 kg and its dimensions is 71 x 45,7 x 42,5 cm or 28" x 18" x 16 3/4". A bit heavy.

The tweeter makes a lot of noise. I have a pair of speakers, and they both make (or made) the same amount of noise, so it's not a fault with my speakers. I have not had the honor of owning more expensive PA speakers, but I think they work alright in bigger rooms where nobody would care about the noise. But in small rooms where the show has long periods of silence, the noise can be disturbing. The high range is a bit unclear, mid and low range is alright. Of course, you won't get much bass out of these speakers, but it works for practice.

It got handles on both sides which are comfortable to use, and could be carried quite easily by one person. It could also be hanged from above with the metal thing on the top. And of course it can be put on speaker stands with a big hole in the bottom.
It's very practical that it has a mic preamp, so it could be used alone to amplify one microphone. There are many situations where this comes handy.

My real message with this review is: Don't buy a B300, if you should find one used. Even if it's me selling it (LOL, I don't think there's any point in trying anyway.) Why? Well, I've owned a pair in two years now, and the speaker can be used in many different ways, it's mobility is good and the sound quality is OK for a cheap speaker.
But both broke. Multiple times. I have lost the count of how many times now. Once it was the power supply, next time the tweeter, the connections between the different elements inside and the filter which splits the incoming signal. It's reliability is so bad that it's not worth having, unless you like fixing things. All the time.
But when it works, it works, so overall, I'll rate it... three points.
