Powered mixer. see general comments for power ratings. VERY LIGHT! THIS IS A PLUS. outputs are speakon, but wish they had more options. Outputs on front take 1/4 plugs. Giving an 8 due to lack of powered output connections.

This thing sounds great considering I only paid 300 bucks for it new.
I've had it several years now, and have had no problems with it. We use this at smaller venues that don't pay much so we don't have to hire a sound company. We only mic the vocals, and sometimes the guitars, and it works out well. Plenty loud enough through a set of jbl speakers on a stick.

again, this unit is very light. Hard to believe it has an amp built in! The built in effects get the job done. Not top notch, but work well.

I'm considering buying the newer model that has 1200 watts. pretty much the same mixer, but more power. That way we wont have to take a power amp with us to run the monitors, we can run everything off the head. 600 watts to mains, 600 watts to monitors. SWEET
